Since 2017, Barbara Polla also works on a cultural, artistic and social project aiming to install art by the UK artist Robert Montgomery in the public space of Perama, a city near Athens in Greece where she lived as a teenager. The project also includes a pedagogic program with scholars from Perama, a collaboration with the Athens School of Fine Arts, films, publications and theater plays to be presented in the open air Mikis Theodorakis Theater of Perama. Depuis 2017, Barbara Polla s’est engagée sur un projet durable, culturel, artistique et social, visant à installer des oeuvres de Robert Montgomery dans l’espace public de Perama près d’Athènes, où elle a vécu dans son adolescence. Le projet sur lequel elle travaille (voir le site) inclut un programme pédagogique avec les élèves des écoles publiques de Perama, une possible collaboration avec l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts d’Athènes, deux films distincts, des publications et des pièces de théâtre qui seront présentées dans le théâtre en plein air de Perama, le Théâtre Mikis Theodorakis.
